Guided Snowmobile Tours in the Beautiful Back Country of the White River National Forest
Guided Snowmobile Tours
Join us for guided snowmobile rides in the pristine forests and high country meadows of the White River National Forest, just 30 miles upriver from Meeker, Colorado.
Cross country skiers have also enjoyed staying at the cabin and skiing from the steps - some adventurous youngsters have even brought snowboards. We're off the beaten path, and well worth the drive!
Vast Forest Playground
We ride through a variety of terrain including valleys, parks, and sub-alpine areas up to 10,000 feet! This includes the North Fork of the White River, Marvine River Valley, Ripple Creek Pass, Fawn Creek, Trappers Lake, Lost Park, Long Park, Blair Mt., and Meadow Lake, operating under special permit with the U.S. Forest Service Lic #961 since 1988. This vast area has been our playground for many years; we know the ins and outs of making a great adventure!
Summer and Winter activities at Welder Ranch in the White River National Forest include family horseback rides and high country pack trips, fishing and hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing right from Welder Ranch and nearby trail heads.
